I have another piece to add to the puzzle. Today I installed Visio from our corporate software center, and the process downgraded my Office installation to Build 1806. With this ancient version, gINT was able to import/export with Excel again. After reinstalling Build 2008, however, gINT is again broken. I developed a translation utility to convert between xlsx and csv formats for gINT datafiles, so this issue isn’t critical for me, but it would be nice to have everything working. Hi David, Our development team reviewed your debug log and believes that the latest version of gINT will resolve the issue with the latest version of excel. The latest version of gINT opens excel differently than the older version of gINT that you have and is more compatible with the latest version of office. If you have download rights from your organization the latest version of gINT can be downloaded here. You will need download rights from your company.

Hi Roger, Thanks for clarifying that. I assumed since Holebase was taken off the Bentley Website list it was not. Apologies.

Forum Post: HolebaseSI - is there a simpler/more efficient way to making logs in HolebaseSI?
I am looking at making some logs in Holebase SI and was wondering if I could get some help with increasing efficiency. We don't do it very often as usually we get the AGS from a contractor, however there are some jobs where would like to create our own logs. Currently, the only ways I know how to input the data is; 1) manually straight into Holebase SI, or 2) exporting the relevant excel files, inputting the data into each file and then importing them back in separately. Both methods work but are very time consuming, especially the first method. We were wondering if there is a simpler way of making a log so that all the data can be put onto one spreadsheet and then into HolebaseSI at one time? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Charlotte, If you prefer to use Excel, you can use KeyAGS4 or the Data Converter. I think the second option you described above is the Data Collector. The Data Converter will export the sheets as CSV for import. KeyAGS4 will export the data in the AGS format. Thanks Martyn

Hi David, Thanks. I will contact you privately so we can get a service request started and troubleshoot with our development team, so that your issues can be recorded and addressed properly and securely so that you aren't posting debug files to the forum.

Forum Post: RE: HoleBase network installation - Multiple devices
Hi Martin, I think the licence driver that would normally be installed with the .exe would need to be installed Manually. You can download the driver from this link: https://bentley.sharefile.com/d-s74c69738cb244fdb Maybe you can add that to your silent install. Just to confirm, did you copy the config file to: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\HoleBASE If so it should work. Thanks Martyn

Hi Mark, Sorry we don't have a list of errors. The error the user is getting though I believe is related to user rights. I had another user with this issue and I'm waiting on a reply to find out what IT changed on the users account. I'll update the post once I hear back. Thanks Martyn

Hi Sonny, I think this is a problem with the Template itself. Below are links to version which I have fixed. To import the files go to System>Configuration Packs>Select the pack>import components. Forum Post: RE: Adjusting horizontal scales in Civil 3D extenstion for HoleBASE
Hi Katie, I remember looking at this as a Service Request with you. However I thought you meant the scale of the profile itself. To adjust gaps you can edit the style for the 3D strip and change the text scale and strip scale. If you want to adjust it further you can edit strips in Template Studio and adjust the column width. Thanks Martyn

Forum Post: RE: Template Studio - Bar Charts labels to include the value 0
Hi Greg, I don't think you can do it the way you want. You can add a point label item and say: [ if([Result]=0,0,'') ] You just replace "Result" with your field which holds the result. Thanks Martyn
